The world is turning, and with it time passes by. Present day America, the plot takes place in the town of Sterling. Just outside of the town is the Northern School of Shifters, the best of the four schools the shifter population controls a great part of the world. So much power lies in their hands that infact many of the human population despise the 'creatures.' Some holding elemental capabilities, and some just as cruel as the humans who once tortured them.
