It was cold...god was it cold. Every winter since Genesis was 9 she could remember the chilled air of New York rotting through her veins. Now...she wasn't even sure how old she was. Stuck at 20 it would seem. Violet visionaries slowly set through wretched terrain the rubble and debris still left behind from the once 'thriving' human civilization. Honestly, she was ashamed. Ashamed to call herself even the offspring of humans. Her own parents just money hungry demons willing to risk their child for the next hot thing. Violet seemed to darken as hands clenched into fists a silent reminder setting through cranium that she needed to be calm. It was almost morning the female could see the sun slowly peaking over the trees as she sat within the large brick home which she held as her own oasis. Morning meant safety, safety meant she could hunt. Slowly pulling on an ebony tank top the female shifted into her worn leather shoes and moved out of the door allowing it to shut loudly behind her as limbs took petite frame toward the agriculture. The sun not yet making it's appearance in the new-morning sky. Few Ciemera would be out at this time, hopefully.
Silver shifted the backpack to his other shoulder as hazel eyes moved over the land before him. 2 days. 2 days he'd been walking and not yet encountered another human being...truthfully, he wasn't exactly looking for one. But hey, contact would be pretty nice. Appendages brought the man into the abandoned city counting what few blessings he had that he had not been attacked during the trip to a new area. Slowly palm slid through thick dark locks annoyed by the beads of perspiration which had formed just below his hair line. It was cold yet he was sweating, what was luck exactly? Taking in a slow breath the man brought himself to a stop, breathing in as he looked around the new area which he would be staying. And since he was staying here...he needed to find a place. Slowly heading toward one of the old apartment buildings eyes moved over the area, it looked abandoned, so he could have his pick apparently. Weird how it was said most Needless..and humans were found here in New York.
